Privacy Policy

Platinum Partner Program (PPP) provides a database marketing platform that allows a customer of PPP to communicate and market to its clients or customers via email and social media. PPP customers provide personal information about their clients or customers to PPP to enable the marketing of products and services to take place. In the course of these activities, PPP itself and PPP’s customers may collect, use, hold and disclose personal information about those clients or customers.

PPP may also collect, use, hold and disclose personal information as a result of you visiting our website or from responding to invitations we send you.

Collection of Personal Information

Personal information which PPP collects, holds, uses and discloses in the normal course of its operations can generally be categorised as either:

  • ‘contact’ information – any combination of name, email address, telephone numbers, company or employer, and street/postal address; OR
  • enquiry / purchase information – a record of your enquiries and the reason for, or source of those enquiries, and purchases you make.

Personal information may be collected directly by PPP, or provided to PPP by its customers. If you become a direct customer of PPP, we may collect additional personal information from you.

Personal information will generally be collected from you in situations where you knowingly provide it, or click on a link in commercial electronic marketing messages we send to you. Examples may include:

  • through our website, online forums, social media sites, registration forms, where you request further information about a product or service, where you apply for, or purchase a product or service from or through PPP, click on a link to obtain further information about a product or service, or via other overt engagement with us.
  • Where incomplete information has been collected from you, for example: if you leave the PPP website, close the browser window or cancel an application or RSVP before submitting the form, PPP or its customers may, at their discretion, contact you to offer further information or assistance. If we do not contact you, we may still collect purely statistical information that does not identify any individual.

The information collected will be used in the first instance to attend to your enquiry or deal with your request. Your personal details may also be used by PPP to provide you with information about other events, products and services, where you have specifically asked PPP to do so.

    Purpose of Collecting Personal Information

The primary purpose for which PPP collects, holds, uses or discloses personal information is for the marketing of products and services by PPP’s customers, or by PPP itself; in both cases, where consent has been established for the recipient to receive commercial electronic marketing messages.

PPP will not use or disclose personal information collected from you without such consent.
